Queens' School

Queens' School 2018/19

Update September 2018

Our low bus fares are a great way of avoiding having to drive through the traffic jams near the School! Help avoid creating traffic gridlock and improve the air quality around the School by using our buses to and from School!

IMPORTANT: Please note that to purchase child price single (or where available a child price return ticket) on all routes to Queens School a currently valid Herts Savercard (obtainable from Hertfordhsire County Council for £20) must be presented. Otherwise adult fares are charged which are approximately double the child fare. The card enables 11-18 year olds to have child price travel on most buses in Hertfordshire. For older children wishing to purchase a child price weekly ticket from the driver (or where available a four weekly ticket) a Savercard proves proof of age.

If you live outside of Hertfordshire and therefore cannot obtain a Savercard your son or daughter would normally be changed adult single or return fares. However, Sullivan Buses offer a Child FareSaver Card (cost £20) which allows child price single and return fares to be obtained on Sullivan Buses for the school year. It is obtainable from this website.

IMPORTANT. There are signifcant changes to routes 346, 347 and  398 and more minor changes to routes 306 and 823. Please check route and timetables carefully and make sure you are buying tickets for the correct service, especially the 346 and 347 which have swapped part of their routes. There are no changes to the 833.

A £2 child single fare has been introduced on routes 346 and 347 together with changes to the boundaries and prices of some season tickets.
